Uh-oh…could there be more celebrity couple troubles so early in 2016?
After the recent Kyrie-Kehlani-PartyNextDoor drama, Iggy Azalea and Nick Young may also be joining the list, thanks to another cheating controversy.
Iggy and Nick’s story even has all the elements you’d expect from a soap opera.
There’s the slick conniving: All this apparently started when LA Lakers rookie D’Angelo Russell secretly filmed Young while he admitted to cheating on Iggy. In the vid, Nick can be heard talking about a teen he hooked up with last summer.
“You was 30 and she was 19?” Russell asks. To which, his teammate affirmed.
D’Angelo also threw Amber Rose into the mix, which Nick denied with, “No, she knows my girl.”
Then, you have the ‘gang fight’ and isolation struggles by the supposed hero of the story: Sources say Russell’s teammates are giving him the cold shoulder because of the deception. “We’re a family and we try to keep everything in house . . . The only thing I’m disappointed about is, we didn’t handle it internally without it getting out,” coach Byron Scott said of the team discord.
Of course, there’s the anticipated vengeance: Surely, everyone was on tenterhooks over what Iggy will do next, and she didn’t disappoint. The “Fancy” rapper took to Twitter to post:

Russell has since apologized to Young for the leaked video, and the latter has talked to the media about the conflict:
“I think it’s best that me and D’Angelo handle the situation we have in a private manner outside the media. I think it’s something we really do need to sit down and talk about. That’s about it. What happened is what happened. We’ve got to work on it.”
But what remains unclear is the future status of the (still?) engaged couple.
