Beyonce is doing big things in 2016 and the first of those was the release of a new song called “Formation” and an accompanying music video. Already there is controversy clouding the newest Beyonce release but that hasn’t out staged the best part of the music video and that was the star, Blue Ivy.

There were rumors that Beyonce would be unveiling new music during the Super Bowl 50 halftime performance where she shared the stage with Coldplay and Bruno Mars. Well, that was mostly true but the song was a day old when fans got to see Beyonce perform (and by perform we mean lip sync) “Formation” to a packed crowd in Santa Clara, California.

In another attempt to keep Jay-Z and Beyonce’s music streaming service relevant, she announced that fans could hear “Formation” and watch the music video through Tidal on Super Bowl eve. The music video is very visually moving and features Beyonce’s daughter with Jay-Z in her first music video appearance.

Hopefully,  Blue Ivy isn’t singing along to Beyonce’s new song because some of the lyrics are definitely not safe for 4-year old ears. As with many of Beyonce’s other songs, she sings about sex and even makes us giggle with lyrics like, “When he f**k me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster.” Surfboard anyone?

Anyway, the song is great even if Beyonce is getting dragged on Twitter for claiming she’s the next “Black Bill Gates” right in the same song where she also lets us know that she has hot sauce in her bag. It’s enlightening stuff really but we’ll definitely be bopping along with Beyonce because she announced a brand new world tour right after performing in Super Bowl 50.
