Carrie Underwood just went through one of a mother’s most terrifying nightmares when she found her baby locked inside her car under the sweltering Tenessee heat.
The 32-year-old mom recently went on a shopping trip but got the scare of her life when she realized her dogs, who she also brought along for the ride, accidentally locked her out of the car…and her 4-month-old baby in.
So, Underwood did what any mother would do – break the window, of course. The country pop star is surely not unfamiliar with the act as she sang about breaking windows and totaling an ex’s car in her music video, “Before He Cheats”. She later clarified, however, that it was her brother in law who flexed the muscles on her car and that everyone, baby Isaiah especially, is doing good.
Isaiah is Underwood’s son with Mike Fisher, a centerman for the NHL’s Nashville Predators. Just the day before, the doting parents celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.
The singer tweeted about the terrifying incident afterwards, posting “When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in,” she wrote. ” #WhatAreTheChances.” A memorable Saturday for the Fishers, indeed.
Thankfully, both baby and dogs are okay and doing well after the smashing incident.
