How about adding another felony to Johnny Manziel’s growing list of problems?
The party-loving footballer – whose NFL career is seriously in danger – might be facing legal authorities yet again for a possible Class 3 felony over the last week.
It’s said Manziel rented out a property in the West Hollywood area for two days and threw major alcohol and drug-fueled ragers that left the house a total wreck, with broken furniture and suspicious substances strewn everywhere.
Nicholas Goodwin, the real estate broker who leased the $4.5 million pad to Manziel, says he went to check on the property hours after the agreed check-out and found the ex Browns quarterback still crashed on the sofa. “They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out . . . There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him. There was booze everywhere . . . broken glasses over the floor and a Champagne glass in a tree.”
The property damage, which amounted to nearly $32,000, led Goodwin to serve Johnny footballer with a legal demand for compensation. “If they don’t respond…we will sue.”
Goodwin’s legal rep, Niki Ghazian, also noted the disturbance Manziel’s parties caused the entire neighborhood, leading neighbors, including comic Kathy Griffin, to call the police.
This latest trouble might be no surprise to those around Manziel, whose pro career is currently a question mark given his off-field antics. His latest agent Drew Rosenhaus has recently threatened to drop the QB unless he gets treatment.
